using flange kit would be great except for price still worked just not real pretty.

Product as shown and described, just make sure you put the o-ring in the groove on the piece that goes on outside of hull. I didn't use specified tool to instlall, just ball peen hammer and 5lb sledge. I added some silicone for extra security. Works like a charm!

The Drain fittings kit worked perfectly although some parts I didn't need due to my transom construction.

Nice high quality product, but the directions consist of a drawing on the back of the package which does not match the parts. The drawing shows two equal size "drain fittings", with no mention of a recessed groove on the end of one of them, or what this groove is for. In reality, these fittings are NOT equal sized and the longer of the two has a recessed groove on one end of it that the other does not. You have to play around dry fitting the parts before finally deducing that the rubber o-ring PROBABLY fits into the recessed grooved end of the thicker of the two aluminum "drain fittings". Then you have to hope that the deduction you just made is actually true. VERY POOR DIRECTIONS DRAWING!!!

Don't have to bail on the trailer any more! Easy and quick to do. I had a knockout puller to make the hole,though a unibit would work as well. I made an installation tool but do yourself a favor and GET THE TOOL. You will be glad you did Don't forget the sealant :)

My boat came with a 15/16" drain hole which initially worked well with the manufacturer supplied drain plug. Unfortunately plugs don't last forever and I was unable to find a plug that was a simple, effective replacement. This kit was easy to install (with the proper tools) and I now have a leak free boat again (plus I can now use the more readily available snap-in drain plugs).

Good product and quick shipping, but installation tool is required. Would be nice information to know when ordering so it can be offered. Very disappointed.
