Winch, Electric, 10,000 lb, Strap - Trac Outdoor Products

BEWARE OF iBOATS! I received a defective unit from iboats. "Contact the Manufacturer" they say, fine. I have done that and after numerous attempts to get me a product that is usable, (which was a pretty smooth process and the manufacturer was very helpful and ultimately stumped beyond belief) I finally decided that even if I did get it working properly, I would not be able to rely on it in the long run. Utimately trying to return it to iboats has proved to be a exercise in patience, and it is wearing thin. The manufacturer can't return the item, and iboats won't return the item cuz it's defective. WHERE DOES THAT LEAVE ME! out $250. that's where. NOT HAPPY! Return the item already!

Winch just buzz's when activating the winch or the light. I verified my wiring was correct and carried the 12volts needed to run the winch. iboats sent me to the manufacturer for help. Richard at Trac has been helpful. Sent me a Control Module to swap out, which didn't fix the problem. He now thinks it's a stuck electronic brake. He was out of the T10129 he will send me a replacement unit when they come available.

Due to the weather we have here I have not used it. I have put it on the trailer and am happy with it.
