The West System 105 Epoxy Resin is a low-viscosity liquid epoxy resin with approximately 1000 centipoise (cp) at 72 F (22C). It is used with hardeners for producing solids of high strength and superior moisture resistance. This resin can be cured at various temperatures ranges when formulated with West System hardeners.

  • Low-viscosity liquid
  • Does not shrink after curing
  • High flash point and no strong solvent odor

West System 105 epoxy compounds are made using 105 epoxy resin as the base material. This resin is used to wet-out and bond with wood fiber, fiberglass, reinforcing fabrics and a variety of metals. It does not shrink after curing when formulated in the absence of volatile solvents. This resin can be modified with West System fillers and works well as an adhesive, filling voids and bridging gaps. It can also be sanded and cured. It suits roller applications owing to its thin-film characteristics to flow out and self-level without "fish eyeing." This clear, pale yellow resin produces a natural finish when coated with varnish. It is also safe to work since it does not have any strong solvent odor.
