Water Temperature Sender 1/2" 14 NPT - Sierra

This sending unit for my 1978 OMC 800 reads high. It reads at 210 when its really 175. Is there a different sending unit for my boat? I just finished checking it this last weekend and was going to contact you. Please let me know which sending unit works with my boat. Thanks, Cliff 801 678 8240

My sender has a 5/8 diameter on threaded side to manifold and 1/8 " Threaded side to where wire connects. Will this fit? Also, this is for a 350 small block Merc Cruiser?

This is for a dual temperature station. It has 1/2"-14 NPT. 18-5896 is for a single station and has the 1/2" thread.
