Fits, but ...

This model number is the right part for the 25MLHX models (Even though it says it won't fit the 25MLHX) Can't find another impeller that will fit the 25MLHX. Another buyer reported that the O-ring did not fit, that was the case with mine as well. Everything else fit fine. I believe they are talking about the O-ring not fitting. Just don't loose your O-ring! A hint, lube the impeller with dish soap during installation. It helps ease it into place.

This is not for a four stroke Yamaha, which I believe your model number should actually be F25ESHX for a 25 HP, 1999 four-stroke. You will need 18-3432.
