Kit for a 1999 5.4 GSI impleller fit fine but o-rings were wrong size. Had to get seperate, so why buy the kit?

Kit had wrong o-ring...tried to get just O-ring replacement, but Sierra doesn't make thus, iboats said I need to return old kit, and get a new kit. But, new kit still has wrong 0-ring, so how is that correcting my probem? Even thought Sierra made mistake with wrong O-ring in kit, Iboats wouldn't fix problem by send me a correct OEM o-ring. I had to buy $2 part. My advice...forget Sierra and Iboat combo spent the extra $ and buy OEM. This would have saved me hours of headach.

This is going on a 1999 VP SX. The size/length of the paddles are identical to the OEM VP part I had in last year. The O-ring for the pump is just a hair big but went together just fine. I did notice the brass splined section of the impeller was actually longer than the OEM piece and made more contact on the shaft of the pump. Looks like a good thing to me. My 1 season old VP impeller was missing 2 and 1/2 of the paddles(~50 hours) Ill post up the results from this impeller at the end of the 2012 season. Gave it a 4 based on o-ring size.
