What is Bluechart® g2 Vision?

Plug an optional BlueChart g2 Vision SD card into your new Garmin chartplotter and tremendously expand its capabilities.

By adding a BlueChart® g2 Vision card to your compatible chartplotter, you'll have access to premium mapping features such as true 3D-view detailed mapping capabilities (both above and below the waterline), plus helpful Auto Guidance, high-resolution imagery, and "real picture" aerial photos of ports, harbors, marinas, waterways, navigation landmarks and other points of interest.

I am hoping this is a temporary disappointment and it is a Garmin problem, not i-boats. I received the Blue Chart g2 Vision promptly as anticipated. I have talked to Garmin and still not able to view the enhanced imagery as advertised. I live about 200 miles from the coastal region it is designed for but wanting to know how to use it before going on a fishing trip. So far all charts look the same with or without the g2 Vision upgrade. I guess I will have to contact Garmin again. I do not want to spend fishing time trying to figure out how to use this expensive upgrade. Thank you for your order follow-up. Hunter McGlamery
