When I ordered this tach, Information about it, was to work with V8 (8 cylinder motor). It has settings for 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder, and 8 cylinder motors. The tach will not work correctly giving incorrect readings of RPM. The pointer justr rotates clockwise continuously. I am in Mexico right now with my work Installing a casting furnace. I am not returning to us untill close to end of September 2012. Is it posible to do something with this Tach or find out what is wrong with it. It looks good but does not work correctly. I like the tach, just want it to work. Please help with this issue, Thank you Gregory Fearn
