Helpful to experienced mechanic

I purchased this book to help me do maintenance on my 2007 150 Suzuki outboard. The book was a help, but unless you know a lot about the motor already, you may not be able to complete your task. It will tell you to remove a part but not show or tell where the part is or what it looks like. If you already knew this, you would probably not need the book. The other issue was that you had to go to several sections of the book to do one task. The book was not as helpful as I had hoped it would be.

The manual contains a lot of information but it covers too many models. The descriptions of what you need to do are very vague. I wanted to find out what was involved in replacing my water pump impeller but after reading the manual for several hours I am still not sure how to drop the lower unit to get to the water pump unit.
