Sure Mount Seat Bracket Kit 33" Rail Length - Wise Boat Seats

The sure mount seat bracket is a great addition to my rear boat seat, it allows me to position the seat were I need it to balance the load on my boat. The bracket came with no instructions so I figured it out on my own, otherwise very happy.

I have three problems with this product. First, it has no instructions as to how to install it. I had to google it and found a video that explained how to do it. Second, there did not appear to be enough hardware to mount the rails securely. I went to the harware store to buy enough lag bolts to install it. Third, the rail system is too wide for the seats in my aluminum boat requiring me to find a bracket to mount on the seats so that I could mount the rail system to the seat. The description of the item did not state the max width of the seat that this was designed for.

This is a good product. I install 2 of them in my new Jon boat. One on each of the bench seats. I used the screws and also pop rivets. It is a very strong and solid mount for both seats. I really like that I can move the seat right or left as needed and remove it when not in use. I recommend this product for use in Jon boats.

Seat brackets were just what I needed for my Jon Boat. Only problem is 7 screws came with bracket but there are 16 drilled holes for mounting the 2 Rails. Maybe they should supply rivets for mounting rails to boat seat

This really like this product, sure makes fishing easier for me. The one thing I did do was used rivets to install makes it rock solid.

I'm relatively satisfied with my product. There is one thing about this front rail that needs attention. Because aluminum bench seats in smaller fishing boats have rounded corners,which makes it difficult to fasten the rail to the front edge of the seat. The rail needs to be a little wider in order to catch the mounting holes properly. I'll have to add a piece of aluminum to the edge of the bench to square it off. Or try to extend the width of the rails. Obviously this is not your fault or problem but something to think about in future manufacturing. Thanks for letting me express my opinion. Just what I wanted and at a better price than I could find anywhere else. Also very fast shipping as well :)

This is a well made product, but I didn't realize one of the rails has to be mounted on the edge of the seat. Since my seat has an opening top, this system wouldn't work. Also, the corners of the rail on the edge are sharp and a bit of a snag concern. And finally, the 33" length is a little awkward, not quite long enough for two seats and more than needed for one... My two cents...

Wanted a rail for the front seat and this was exactly what I was looking for. Very easy to install and works great.

The 33" long L-bracket should be an inch wider and an inch taller because most metal boat seats have a curved radius on the leading edge. I would have had to mount the screws on an angle to catch the metal. I had to weld a piece of metal 2"X 33" on the vertical as well as the horizontal to be able to catch the flat of the seat in both directions. Thanks

Only complaint is that the seat mount is not longer. The seat is to close to the edge of the base

33" version was purchased to give more adjustability to balance a 12' Harbercraft classic. Trimmed length of rear piece to enable seat assembly removal. Heavier aluminum than anticipated keeps the seats attached securely. Tried suction cups and clamping seat holders before discovering these. Use pop rivets and a washer if attaching directly to aluminum seats rather than the screws provided as screws will pull out.
