Mounting brackets are used as attachment points for gas springs on hatches and other mounting surfaces where the mounting surface is not strong enough to support the direct attachment of a gas spring using a threaded stud or the angle and position of the attachment point requires the need for a mounting bracket.Ball points away from mounting holes.

L Mount Bracket SL50SSP3-7

I ordered this and the wrong item was sent, same L gas Spring Mount but the ball is on the outside they make this ball inside L Bracket and ball outside bracket 2 diff part numbers and I boats sent new set and sent outside ball 2time they where great trying to solve the issue I ended up SS welding the ball on the other side easy job if you can tig weld but make sure you talk to someone who is pulling the product from the shelf they may not know the difference. just a word of advice. Item is great and works fine now....

latch struts

New install of struts for boat latch (not replacement) for Kidston Island Ferry. In use for 2 weeks now (every day) with no issues and performing as they should.
