An auxiliary motor kit is the ideal way to provide remote control steering for kicker motors up to 25HP.
  • The model 55-2600 is constructed of stainless steel. Non-corrosive for saltwater applications.
  • Has a "C" clamp that fits over the hydraulic steering rod and a ball stud and a quick disconnect that attaches to your kicker motor.
  • Rod is 24" long (threaded to 16")so you can customize your installation.
  • Rod size: 3/8"- 24" fine thread.

    Connecting rod too short to reach

    Pontoon boat using 50 hp Yamaha and 9.9hp kicker.. Connecting rod too short to reach, had to improvise to install. connecting rod should be at least 36" rather 24" supplied.

    Good results, well built. Would not hurt manufacturer to put in a couple of longer bolts for normal appllications and help us avoid a trip to our favorite ACE Hardware store.

    Very easy to install and it looks great. I had to shorten the rod almost in half. On my application I did not bend the rod. Wish all changes went this easily
