    All battery boxes meet ABYC Standard E-10 and U.S. Coast Guard Specification Number 183.420 as an OEM-installed battery hold-down system. Polypropylene construction for total acid resistance. Hold-down straps resist 350 pounds of force, nearly four times the USCG requirement. Battery Boxes are drop tested in temperatures ranging from -20°F to +120°F. Mounting hardware is included.

Battery box used in boat application, sized correctly for a 16 series battery and fits in a small footprint.Vented and allows for cable routing. Excellent material.

Just as described. The box fit the PWC size battery perfectly. All parts were as described with bottom clamps for the tie down strap included. My application is outdoors in a open boat. I used electrical tape to block the two vent holes on the top. IBoats price was the best I found. Their web site was easy to navigate and complete the order. Their shipping was excellent Ordered at 6AM Monday, had it in hand at 4PM Tuesday under the $2 expedited delivery option. It was delivered 1 day early! Recommend IBoats and I will look at them first when the need arises for boat parts.
