Does the engine kill switch need to be mounted with the unit or, like in my 2005 Glastron, can it be mounted separately?
A:
It will need to be mounted separately. Kill switch cannot be installed onto this box.

Will this fit my vip with the volvo 5.0 engine inboard/ outboard?
A:
Yes, but you will probably want one with trim switch, part number 309474.

I have a1994 Larson cabrio 250 with a merc260 inboard would the 309475002 model work since i also have a trailer button on my old controller?

Yes it will work as that has the tilt and trim function and this also accepts OEM cables.

Yes it will work for your set up. However it does not have the trim switch, part number 309474 does.

This product, like most of our other products on our website, is after market. It is made to fit based on the specifications of the mount, not the specifications of your boat. You will just need to verify the specifcations of the mount that you are replacing.

What cables do I need for a 1989 Johnson 9.9?
A:
If using OEM remote you need CC205 and the length you require. With this control box you need CC230 with CA27320P connection kit.

Will this fit on a 24 ft. 89 Bayliner Trophy?
A:
This is a universal remote box that accepts OEM cables. So yes you can install it on your boat and use your OEM cables. Be aware this particular unit (309473) does NOT have tilt or trim.

Will this fit on 1989 sea ray?

Since it is an aftermarket we do not have original information to match it up. It accepts universal control cables along with Mercury and BRP (Johnson/Evinrude/OMC) OEM style cables. If you have further questions contact us at the number at the top of the page.

Will this work on my 1995 Cajun bass boat? Does it have the starter switch like the original control box?

It is a universal remote box so it will work for your boat. It will not have the starter switch in the control box though.

The 309475002 has the tilt/trim switch that you're speaking of for the "trailer" switch.
