Side Mount Spare Tire Carrier - Tie Down Engineering

This bracket is well built. Compact and strong. It fit my Tracker Boat trailer perfect and was very easy to install. There was one problem I had with the carriage lug bolts on installation. The square part of the bolt that goes in the square hole of the bracket was about an 1/8 inch to long which made it a little tricky to secure it tight to the bracket. I used a large washer to make up the difference for the keeper to hold it tight. Extra square washers, a thicker plate or a shorter carriage bolt would make this bracket a five star product.

This carrier is well made, comes with all the necessary hardware to install on a 3" or 4" trailer beam. Easy to install with proper tools in approximate 20 minutes. Adapts well to either 4 or 5 lug nut rims. Word of advise is have a torque wrench to torque lug nuts per instructions. I would also recommend a lockable lug nut to prevent theft of spare tire/rim. Good price and construction. I wish the offset out (away) from the trailer frame was another inch or two. I had to mount closer to the front of the trailer than I would have liked to as to avoid the spare rubbing against the boat.

Solid design. All needed hardware included. Install was under 10 minutes. Exactly what I was looking for and great price.
