Shakespeare low-profile VHF marine band antennas are perfect choice for bassboats, center consoles, or any vessel where compact size is important. Comes with a standard-duty stainless steel whip for extra stability at high speeds. Chrome plated brass canister minimizes de-tuning.

  • Stainless steel antenna whip (36in) - Standard (SHA-5240R)
  • Requires a mount with a center hole for passage of the supplied cable
  • 15ft RG-58 cable and a PL-259 connector included
  • Suggested mount: Shakespeare Styles 4187, 4188-S, or 4190 Ratchet Mounts (each sold separately)
  • Whip is user replaceable

    New slim design

    The antenna I received seems to be a newer design. The slimmer base looks like it will last longer than the wider body which breaks at the plastic top.

    antenna works as advertised however an optional solderless connector would have aided installation without the added cost of a torch solder or buying your own connector.

    Quick shipping. Product arrived no problems. Antenna works well on my Maverick Master Angler boat. Old antenna was the same. Black cap on top cracked from sun exposure I suspect and can not be replaced. Had to buy whole antenna. Have taped the black cap on the new one with silicone tape to help keep the sun from damaging it.
