Ss Led Combo Bow Light - Seadog Line

Low profile design looks great on boat also is very bright. Not sure it's the highest grade stainless. It doesn't come with the mounting screws or wiring instructions. If the polarity is reversed it will not light unlike other led products.

I'm trying to convert all of the lights on my boat to LED simply for piece of mind of the lower power draw...especially while I'm on anchor. I've got this phobia of running the battery down to the point I won't be able to restart when I'm ready. Also, this light is rated for 2 NM, and is a bit brighter - a bonus for being seen after dark. The first trip out after I'd installed it, my buddy commented on how he liked the style and brightness and that he'd like to get one for his boat until his wife raised an eyebrow when I told him what it cost. At any rate, I really like the low profile styling compared to most other combo-lights. They claim it's stainless and it is polished. You can't see it in the photo but there are 16 LEDs in this...eight red and eight green, four pairs on each side(the pairs are stacked on top of each other). They are mounted following the radius of the front of the light, visible through the slots on the front, which you can see in the picture. The plastic base is very well formed. I installed mine with a two wire trailer plug packed with silicone dielectric grease to prevent corrosion but allow future serviceability if needed. Bottom line is I would recommend this and will buy another if the need arises.

This bow combination light utilizes the latest in LED technology to achieve excellent intensity with incredibly low power consumption. This light also maintains an attractive (I installed the SS version) low profile on the deck. Installation was easy and I feel the improvement to my boating experience was well worth the investment!
