My trailer's winch had to be at lest 35 years old. The handle was pitted and missing the plastic grip. The company who made it was long out of business but I ordered this in hopes it would fit. It does. The hole this handle has is 1/2 inch. Fit perfectly. The nut was fine threaded. My winch need coarse but a quick trip to the hardware store and $.25 later the new handle fit perfectly. My 35+ year old wince is now as good as new.
