I have a 15 ft jon boat and 2008 merc 3cyl, 4 stroke EFI motor with tiller steering. i need to change it to steering wheel , how do i do that and can i even do it. i already have a side mount throttle and shifter unit..will this work for me and how?? james?
A:
Rack steering requires 30 inches under the dash. Most jon boats do not have enough clearance. Rotary steering will work. We do not have technicians so we cannot tell you how to do it. You might try posting the question on our forum at http://forums.iboats.com/
