This was an easy product to find and replace on iboats! I called two shops to replace my rack and pinion. One gave me a price of $400-$600 dollars, the other an unbelieveable $800-$1000. I decided to give this a shot on my own and have the marine shop take over where I left off. I took off the the control lever beside the drivers seat, took off the side panel beside my hot foot, took off the large nut on the cable by the motor, took off the nut on the steering arm, took the cable loose from the rack under the dash ( 4 small bolts) pulled the cable through. less than an hour. When I got my teleflex rack box it was complete, everything I needed to replace the entire steering system. I reverse the process in 30 minutes or so and wraped it up. Steering is like having power steering!!! Really you can do this. on a scale of 1-5 with 5 being the most difficult I'd give this a two. You just have to tap the large nut on the back to drive the steering rod in s little. I used a 12 inch cresent wrench opened just enough to clear the cable. put it behind the nut and taped the wrench to drive the rod in. Piece of cake and saved $500 easy!
