I had the rod holders given to me by a friend which were older but in perfect shape and was hoping i would be able to find mounting base that would fit the rod holder. I checked your website and found two items made by attwood but wasn't sure they would fit. I called iboats and the customer service was excellent and the person on the phone really seemed to know the products. i selected this option because it can mount in vertical or horizontal position. The installation was simple and it fit my older rodholder perfect. Long review for a simple product buy I will definetely make future purchases from iboats because of the customer service I received on such a simple product.

This Mount fit perfectly on the 1" thwart bar on my kayak and fit my existing Attwood rod holders . Had a problem with a some bad threads one mount. I was sent an immediate replacement from the manufacturer. Very impressed with iboats.com fast shipping and support as well as Attwood.

Excellent strong mounts I needed to replace the ones I had that were the wrong type for what I was needing - I mounted on my aluminum boat using stainless steel screws. Tested and used several times and I'm 100% satisfied.
