Seat Slide Works Great
by Blayne from Cedar Rapids, Iowa on January 23, 2017
This seat slide works very well. It slides easily when lever is pulled, and locks firmly in place when lever is released. Hint: I have a 20 year old Lund Pro-V. At first it didn't look like the holes in the seat slide lined up with a set of 4 threaded holes in my seats. Then I looked under the seat vinyl material and found more threaded holes. I did have to use a 1/4-20 tap on those holes to clean the rust out of the threads first. After that the install went great.

S y product with smooth glide.
by Blayne from Cedar Rapids, Iowa on August 15, 2016
This is a s y product that looks like it will last a long time. I mounted it to my Lund boat seats which date back to 1996. This boat is the older narrower version so there was no room for your legs when fishing out the side of the boat. With these slides there is now plenty of room for your legs. The center set of 4 holes/slots in the slide did not line up to the seat. I noticed that the outer most set of holes lined up with a pair of holes on the seat. After looking further I noticed that there was another pair of holes on the other end of the seat, but they were hidden under the seat fabric. I cut holes in the fabric and was able to mount the seat slide without drilling any holes. I did have to use a tap to clean the rust out of the threaded inserts (1/4-20 thread) in the seat, but then installation was easy.

seat slide
by Stephen from Hastings, Ontario on February 07, 2015
The positive lock boat seat slide once it was installed with the seat on is great. I find the seat is a few inches higher which is ok for I am getting up there in age and it is easier to get out of seat and the view of the water is better. I have artificial lenses and could not read my electronics while going down the lake forcing me to stop. The sliding bracket allows me to move the seat to focus my eyes wishing I had bought the slides a lot sooner.

A really nice mount for the money
by Cameron from Salem, Oregon on February 07, 2015
I recently purchased this as part of an upgrade to my truly uncomfortable helm seat. The quality of the extrusions that make up this part, and the machining relating, look really good. The nylon bushing that the slide assembly rides on makes the slide operation quite smooth. With about 4-1/2 inches of travel, the new seat is now adjustable (my former seat was not) to where I can get a comfortable driving position for both my wife and myself. While the slide was greased up, the positioning paw mechanism was not, so I added a bit of grease on the mechanism. Also, given the design of the mechanism, it takes a bit of futzing around to lock the position into place: Not really an issue with the fabrication, simply a function of the basic design. The part is made in China, which probably allows for it's inexpensive retail price.

Q:
This doesn't list the bolt pattern diminsions, or am I missing it?
A:
The bolt pattern dimensions measure up to 5 1/4 inches.

Q:
The way this slide pictured above, is this the correct top and bottom position when mounting to the deck?
A:
This is to mount to a pedestal onto the pedestal seat mount. The top bracket mounts to the seat. Picture comes from Springfield. If you have further questions contact us at the number at the top of the page.

Q:
I have wooden seats on a 14 ft aluminum boat. Can this slide be attached to the wood seats and ba used to slide the boat seat side to side?
A:
You could do that, but it's not highly recommended or necessary for this type of slide.

Q:
I recently bought Millennium Marine seats for my Tracker Grizzly. Will this fit the seat bases?
A:
Yes.

Q:
Will this for for the seat on a 1996 Mastercraft Prostar 190 ski boat?
A:
Yes most likely. Double check your seat that the hole pattern is 5 x 12 to be able to install onto seat. This is what industry standard is.
