Moeller Yamaha Tank Side Connectors

The female fuel line connector fit neither the Moeller tank fitting nor the Yamaha engine fitting. Went to the Yamaha dealer , who also sells the Moeller fittings, and we were unable to get the Moeller female fittings from iBaot or in the shop to fit either the tank fittings or the outboard fitting. In short, the Moeller female fitting simply is incorrectly made. Fortunately the dealer had on OEM end fitting, so I was able to use my external tank by using a hose barb and the OEM fitting.

The fitting itself is ok. The one at the tank worked, but the one at the engine would not fit. I have an 2007 Yamaha F15CESH 15 hp 4-stroke. Apparently Yamaha had a separate one for the tank and one for the motor. My old ones have arrows indicating direction of flow and one will only fit at the tank and the other at the motor. Perhaps these fittings would work on older engines.

the product did not fit my 1999 115 hp yamaha engine nor did the 033482 additional part that i ordered. I BOATS COULD NOT PROVIDE ME A REPLACEMENT PART FOR THE YAMAHA PART #6E5-24305-06 THAT I ENDED UP OBTAINING FROM A YAMAHA DEALER. DEALING WITH IBOATS COST ME TIME (TWO ORDERS TRYING TO GET THE RIGHT PART) AND FRUSTRATION.

Unfortunately, the piece ended up being useless because it doesn't mate with the female end sold by Moeller. Ended up at the Yamaha dealer, where they had both Moeller and one original yamaha fitting. Only the Yamaha fitting worked on the engine and Moeller Tank Connector.-they only had one, so had to use a hose barb at the tank.

Just what I needed.

the fitting and the hose i ordered and used are not a good fit, I can see brass when fitting and gas line are joined. I have experienced a gas leek either from the moeller tank and or fitting very disappointed in the product.
