Bad fitting
by David from Port St Lucie, Florida on July 05, 2014
It was nearly impossible to connect this line to my 8 hp 2005 mercury 4 stroke engine. We managed to force it on after about 1 hour of effort but will never disconnect it from the engine because of how badly it works. NOT happy.

Just what I was looking for!
by David from Dighton, Kansas on November 02, 2014
The old fuel line had plastic fittings and naturally, one cracked! Had to keep pumping the primer bulb all the way back to the dock, by my self. I had to look pretty strange going across the lake trying to steer and reach back to the fuel tank at the same time.

If you order one of these things make double sure it has the right connectors.

Q:
Is there a fitting to convert a 1974 hose, engine end to the two prong post 98 engine?
A:
There's no fitting necessarily. You need a 3/8" hose in order to hook up the post 98 style engine fitting. It will all depend on the fuel tank hook up fitting to complete set up.

Q:
What's the difference between the "3/8" Barb Female Fuel Line Engine Connector, 1998 and Newer Engines, Large Two Prong Clip Style for Yamaha Mercury - Moeller" and the "3/8" Barb Plastic Female Fuel Line Tank Connector, 1998 and Newer Engine, Two Prong Clip Style for Mercury - Moeller" - will they both work on a newer Mercury motor?
A:
One is an engine connector and one is a tank connector. Both will work on your Mercury as long as it's after 1998.

Q:
What is the overall length?
A:
The overall length of this fuel line assembly is 80 inches, or 6-1/2 feet.

Q:
Does this come in 12'?
A:
The only one that is offered in 12' is a universal SKU (033389-10LPA). Here is where it's listed on our site: www.iboats.com/Moeller-Universal-Fuel-Line-Assembly/dm/view_id.886068. Please double check your information prior to ordering to make sure this will work with your engine.
