Boat-20.5' Open bow Runabout (3500# total). In river current of 2-4 mph, motor struggles a bit, where a 101# motor would be better, but once out of current the 80# motor is strong and holds its own for the weight it pulls. It would have no problems at all with weights under 3000# lbs. All i-pilot features are excellent and what they claim to be. Spot-lock feature will drift a bit if too windy but recovers. Foot control works well and in sync w hand remote. Motor head only turns twice in either direction then reverses so as to not wrap cord around shaft (nice feature). When turning, motor replicates the sound of a remote control car. Hand remote is fairly small and hard to operate/see at nite (MK since has an upgraded remote). Base of motor has 4-lite battery gauge display. Deploying -stoying is very easy. Bottom line - a 101# motor would be better for the total weight of my boat, but by all means I do not consider that a con. This is an excellent motor and has awesome features! Highly recommended!!!
