I shopped around and found the best price for this trolling motor on iboats.com. It was delivered on time and I finally had a chance to install it and use it. Worked perfectly! It got me to the fishing flats that I've always wanted to try. Now if I could only catch the fish!

I bought a flats boat and replaced the trolling motor. I replaced the old trolling motor (motor guide) that was shot. I did alot of research and found that the rip tide was long lasting and got good reviews. I was a bit leery of the remote and no foot peddle but once I got it installed and started using the remote on a regular basis it was great. I use it from any place on the boat when I am fishing alone and I don't think I will buy the foot peddle now. The Motor itself has really great power and moves my Action Craft 1720 though the water nicely.
