If you order one of these things make double sure it has the right connectors.

wrong part
by Thomas from Greeley, Kansas on August 27, 2014
I ordered a part from appearance, however the ID of the female coupling measures .585". The part that I need is .385". The connector is a 1/4" npt, which is why I ordered this one. This motor is a 9.8 IEKAEFER Merc 110, which is a 1950's model. If it helps the number on the connector is 30635. When I return the incorrect part that I ordered, can I send the old connector for you to match?

by John from Sussex, Wisconsin on January 28, 2017
I ordered the right barb size and it plugs in to the motor as it should. All good.

Great Connector!
by Ned from Logansport, Indiana on February 03, 2017
This connector is just what I needed. It has a 3/8" hose barb, that goes in the fuel line, then it attaches to the fuel tank. Besure to use the Moeller two prong tank connector (033477-10). They fit together perfectly.

Perfect product.
by Ned from Logansport, Indiana on February 06, 2017
This is the connector. The mating fuel line connector slides right on and locks. It clicks so you know it is locked together. This is the perfect connector for replacement!

Bad fitting
by David from Port St Lucie, Florida on July 05, 2014
It was nearly impossible to connect this line to my 8 hp 2005 mercury 4 stroke engine. We managed to force it on after about 1 hour of effort but will never disconnect it from the engine because of how badly it works. NOT happy.

Just what I was looking for!
by David from Dighton, Kansas on November 02, 2014
The old fuel line had plastic fittings and naturally, one cracked! Had to keep pumping the primer bulb all the way back to the dock, by my self. I had to look pretty strange going across the lake trying to steer and reach back to the fuel tank at the same time.

Q:
Is there a fitting to convert a 1974 hose, engine end to the two prong post 98 engine?
A:
There's no fitting necessarily. You need a 3/8" hose in order to hook up the post 98 style engine fitting. It will all depend on the fuel tank hook up fitting to complete set up.

Q:
What's the difference between the "3/8" Barb Female Fuel Line Engine Connector, 1998 and Newer Engines, Large Two Prong Clip Style for Yamaha Mercury - Moeller" and the "3/8" Barb Plastic Female Fuel Line Tank Connector, 1998 and Newer Engine, Two Prong Clip Style for Mercury - Moeller" - will they both work on a newer Mercury motor?
A:
One is an engine connector and one is a tank connector. Both will work on your Mercury as long as it's after 1998.

Q:
Which female connector on the gas line mates with this connector?
A:
The 033477-10 Tank Fitting, connects to the 033486-10 Tank. You'll want a 3/8" I.D. hose and the opposite ends connects to the 033482-10 to connect to the engine.

Q:
Is the fitting that goes into gas tank 3/8 from the 1/4 fitting ??
A:
The 3/8' refers to the hose size. 1/4" is the internal diameter of the fitting.

Q:
Will this fit a 70's mercury 110 9.8 hp?
A:
You will just need to verify your engine connection is the bayonet style, but this is what was used on most Mercury's pre-1998.

Q:
What is the overall length?
A:
The overall length of this fuel line assembly is 80 inches, or 6-1/2 feet.

Q:
Will this fit a 1967 merc 60 s/n 2236831?
A:
If you have the bayonet style, yes it will fit. This goes to various fuel tanks, you'll have to match it up by what your current one looks like.

Q:
Does this come in 12'?
A:
The only one that is offered in 12' is a universal SKU (033389-10LPA). Here is where it's listed on our site: www.iboats.com/Moeller-Universal-Fuel-Line-Assembly/dm/view_id.886068. Please double check your information prior to ordering to make sure this will work with your engine.
