I Guess That It Works

After having an out drive stolen in 1997, I purchased and used one of these for my next boat (1996 Celebrity 220 cuddly with Bravo I). That drive was never stolen after about 18 years of service, so I guess that it works. Seriously, it is a snap to install, and I never had a problem removing it with the key. Surprisingly, the rubber cover never fell off. Just remember to give the mechanic the key if they need to remove the drive. I just received one as a gift for my new boat - nice peace of mind.

Simple yet Effective

Only time will tell how good this really is... simple yet effective so far, if anything it just makes it that much harder for someone to walk off with your outdrive.. worth it in my book
