Simple Solution

I purchased a used 04' Lund 2025 that has a 15hp Merc kicker motor. Being an older boat it steers with the main engine but is pull start with tiller throttle control. First time out on Lake Michigan it was impossible to keep a steady trolling speed in the wind and waves. I looked into installing a second throttle for the kicker, this would have cost over $1000. A buddy told me about the Trollmaster, it took about an hour to install and was very easy. The most time consuming part was just running the wires. There are two wires for power and a cable with a connector on it that goes to the servo motor that connects to the throttle. I just got back from Nothern wisconsin and it worked great even though it was very windy. I was able to control my speed within .1mph, highly recommended.

Bought this for my Merc kicker motor. The product was easy to install and the instructions were clear. Tried it on the water and it is working great.

What else is required to make the troll master work on a 1992 Yamaha 9.9?

It comes with the kit you need to make it work. If you have a remote shift and throttle then you will need to buy TM201DMT which is bypass kit. We will also email you instructions.
