I just wanted to write that I recently purchased a SkegGuard for my outdrive on my Four Winns. It was very easy to install. It took me about an hour vs. 10 minutes but I wanted to make sure that I installed it right and to make sure it wouldn't fall off after use. My outdrive was pretty weathered over the years and was in dire need of a paint job. I mounted the skeg first, marked the holes to be drilled and then drilled the holes. I made sure that I could secure the SkegGuard in place with the screws and then immediately took it off. I painted my outdrive and then reinstalled the SkegGuard after the paint dried. I just wanted to say that I couldn't get over how cool the SkegGuard looks with a newly painted outdrive. I also have a stainless prop, and that also enhances the look of the outdrive (just like the picture). The SkegGuard appears very sturdy and solid after being installed. I took my boat out for a spin and it ran very smooth and stable. I am very happy with this purchase. Joe - New Baltimore, MI
