Mallory Kit, Shift Cable 9-72100

The parts fit and the shipping was very good as I recieved them in less time than any other on line dealer. I am ordering all my furture parts from I boats. Thank you I boats.

You will see another review from me on this product because I did order it 2 times. Its not because the product failed, its because I didn't fix the problem that caused the cable to fail in the first place. I had some water leaking in to the bellows and that water caused the cable to fail. The cable I replaced a year ago was still good, but I figured while I'm in there replacing bellows I would replace it again "just in case". Good product. Make sure to buy some bellows adhesive as it should be used on the 1 end of the shift cable bellow.

Kit came with all the seals and parts needed for the job. May want to pull the transom off before you order it so you can check the gimble bearing. Only one thing not included in the kit is a deep socket to unscrew the cable from the bell housing, so make sure you have something that will work or you may have to order it and delay your time from boating. I used a deep thin sidewall 14mm socket, may or may not work in your case but there is a special socket for the job. Ordered Wednesday night, arrived Friday afternoon with standard shipping to MN thanks iboats! Installed on a 89 alpha one 3.0l.

I received my order but was not complete. This is my first purchase and I am not pleased. Repairing my boat for this upcoming weekend is now delayed because of this problem!!!! The kit is missing the O-rings and the gasket. I am needing to purchase additional items but will not consider Iboats at this time.
