Locking Insert for Fuel Fill - Perko

When place in the perko fuel fill, it broke when trying to remove the key. The emote lock mechanism came out with the key and the lock body was stuck in the filler hole.

It works but is not easy to get in and out.

Bought one each for my 1990 Sea Ray. Didn't have Perco filler tube model so I had to gamble to see if they worked. I lost. Had to destroy packaging to open inserts so I didn't return them. They were about 1/2 inch too short for the locking mechanism to catch the bottom of the gas tube. Great idea though. Because they fit under the chrome gas cap, I left them in as a deterrent. Would have been nice if Perko, in addition to the model numbers it worked with, would have included the length of the mechanism.

Works fine in my Tahoe Q7. Snaps right into filler neck, spanner wrench on key is handy too. Makes your high-dollar tank of fuel a harder target.
