Life Ring Station w/#570002 Ring & 50' Rope - Taylor Made

I ordered the life ring stations online on November 19, 2013 with the understanding that they were available and would be shipped in a few days. I received an email with a tracking number last week that my order had been delivered. I never received the order so I called customer service and was told that that was an error and that I would not receive my order till after Christmas because the product I ordered was not in stock and on back order. It would have been nice to receive a notice from your company that this was the case and I would have looked elsewhere for the product. To say the least my Board of Directors were not happy when I informed them that I would not get the order until late December. Waiving shipping cost, which I refused, was not the solution in my opinion --letting customers know in a timely manner that something is not available would have been a better solution.
