I give every new light we install on our salt water boat trailer a multi day soak test before i bother bolting them on to the trailer, we have gone through so many different brands of "sealed" led lights on our boat trailer, most of them fail miserably. this light strip uses the same potted and ultrasonically sealed marker lights that we use on the side of our trailer (except they are amber not red). It passed my 4 day soak test in about 2 feet of tap water, so I expect many years of salt water service for this light assembly.
