Manufactured in 500 and 750 GPH, this pump allows anglers to quickly change the pump capacity to accommodate different bait or make a quick replacement. Changing the oxygenation level helps to keep specific types of bait alive and active for a longer period of time. The procedure is quite simple, just lift the tab, turn the motor housing one inch, and pull the motor out. It only takes a few seconds and replacing a new motor is just as easy. Available in Inline and 90° inlet models. Outlets are standard 3/4". Does the housing turn at all to discharge out the side?
A:
Technically it can turn, but Johnson said it is not recommended. You can unscrew the bottom from the housing, but then you start to put wear on the screw threads causing damage to the pump. Johnson says it best to contact them to order it the way you want the first time to ensure your pump lasts as long as you need it to.
