Johnson 6 hp Outboard Manuals (1966-1972)

I understand this is an old manual and sort of hard to find but for the basic information thats in the whole 27 pages - which some are nothing but accesory pages its not worth the price + shipping. I found (after I bought this) a version on CD that was $7.95 that has repair and complete parts information! Anyway - I guess they think this is a antique??? Fast shipping though....

I was surprised to pay such a high price ($38.99) for a photocopied manual. I expected new old stock, especially because of the the color "sample page" and the description that states "Original Factory Manual For 1968 Johnson 6 hp Outboards". When an original manual is unavailable, the photocopied substitution should be priced much lower - no more than $20 - especially for so few pages, just stapled together. I'm glad to receive the manual, but may I suggest offering a digitized version to supplement (or replace) the photocopy? It would be a greener option and certainly easier for the customer to store and protect. I sent this comment to iboats.com but received no response after a week. I think commenting about iboat's service is appropriate because they sent me a photocopy instead of an original manual but charged me the same price.
