I applied interprotect 3000 on the tri-hull of a '77 sterncraft runabout 16ft boat I recently purchased. Following the "how-to" articles on Iboats I sanded, filled, washed, and wiped with recommednded products..I then applied the interprotect. It was rather easy to apply after mixing and waiting for the 20 minute reaction time. I used a foam roller and a 4" brush, the foam in the roller did begin to break down after a short time so with a multi pack I needed to change roller often-I used 5 rollers in total..I made four mixes..the first three to cover the hull I had repaired..(there were 2 blisters and a lot of nicks and chips around the original hull)..I let the first coverage dry overnight then lightly sanded with 360 grit to remove some foam particles that had fallen off the roller and completed the second coat with a brush..it dried hard soft in a few hours and was hard in a couple days.I followed with an ablative bottom paint...the hull looks great, have had several comments of praise..now fishing with it the hull remains light and dry..I will use it again in my next project soon to come.
