The product I ordered is excellent. I rcvd it when requested but my customer service experience was poor although the result was good. When I originally ordered the product from your website I had an issue with the quantity box. Although I chose a quantity of 2 and noted it in the appropriate checkout when the order went thru it went thru as only 1. I ordered another and since I requested next day service and it was still very earl yin the AM I called and spoke with a woman who told me that she would ship them both out in the same next day package, no issues and no additional expense. later in the day I rcvd' a note that only 1 item was shipping so I called back and spoke to customer service. I was informed that the missed the 2nd item and that it would ship via regular mail and I would rev a week later than the original unless I wanted to pay an additional shipping fee which was 10x's more expensive than the product itself. I had no problem paying the initial express charge but upon explaining it to the male customer service rep he replied, "You must've made a mistake upon ordering and there was nothing they could do about it. Not a good response for a service business. Told him I was disappointed and just to ship normal. Lo and behold they both show up express the next day. Save the customer the aggravation and just ship both express in the first place. Whether this was an accident or not that they shipped both express after being told there was no way they could do this and that it was "your fault" really left a poor taste in my mouth. Just ordered $400 in parts for my motor that I could've gotten from iBoats but after the initial experience with the customer service on the phone and an issue with the website ordering from inlays I chose another site that was competitively priced but a bit more expensive. Found the customer service for this competitive site much better and even rcvd a call and two emails letting me know that the product shipped on time. I leave this long winded note to hopefully share my experience with inlays so that they address. Great products and selection but poor customer service ruined a good result and the opportunity for a potential customer who spends $1000's ea year on marine supplies. Hope they address!
