I tried one of these, a smaller one, to see how it compared to a regular round style fender. It just seems too thin, or maybe I ordered the wrong size. I will figure a way to use it, maybe as a temp. when unloading the boat from the trailer and putting up at the dock for a couple minutes. Otherwisel, I will rely on my traditional round fenders.
