My first question addressed the garboard drain with plug, however I used the wrong drop down. Do I need a gasket or just use a good under water sealant when the garboard is installed against fiberglass?

According to Seadog, their part number 520040-1 (the garboard drain with plug) does not come with a gasket and you would need to use an underwater sealant.

Flange diameter is 2 inches and the plug diameter is 1/2 inch.
