The Faria Digital Depth Sounder is used to measure the depth in deep as well as shallow waters. It is incorporated with the latest microprocessor technology to measure the accurate value. This device can easily measure depth up to 199 feet. It has a programmable keel off-set for convenience.

This device features a backlight, and can also be used to measure the water temperature and the ambient air temperature. It features audible and visual alarms to warn the boater about deep and shallow waters. This sounder is designed to fit a standard 2-1/16" gauge mounting hole.

How many feet of cable come with it and is this the kind you epoxy inside the hull? Thanks.?

You will need to contact Faria for guidance on the installation and length.
Q:
Can the transducer and cable be ordered seperately? I have the guage, but had an accident with the transducer mount.?
A:
Yes you can. If you have this gauge then you need part number SN2010 for the in-hull transducer.
Q:
Is the surround on the 13851 actually SS?
A:
Yes, that is correct. The surrounding material on 13851 is stainless steel.

Is the face color actually white?
A:
No according to Faria it's actually a Professional Red.
Q:
Is this Depth sounder thru-hul, in-hul or transum mount transducer?
A:
This is in-hull mounted.
Q:
Will this work on a aluminum hull?
A:
Yes you can install this onto your aluminum boat. This is a transom mount transducer.
Q:
It says this is an in-hull mount transducer but also says it is not a glue in transducer - how else would you mount it in-hull?

This is a transom mount. The in-hull is #13851.

I have a 1999 weeres tri-toon will this model fit the console and does the transducer mount to the pontoons?
A:
We cannot match up by specific boat model, but it fits a standard 2-1/16" size gauge hole. It is a transom mount, but does not come with the ability mount to a tritoon or pontoon. You will need some type of pontoon transducer bracket.
