Deck Fuel Fill Replacement Cap for 1313 - Perko

Matched my 92 tracker pro perfectly. One thing to note, when changing it out, stuff a rag down in the tank neck incase you drop the screw.

The new cap came quicker than expected and installed and fit perfect. I was cautious about possible fuel leaking and had put an added "O" ring on the old one until this one came in the mail. Mine old one had become cross threaded and wouldn't screw all the way in. I read another review here of someone who was replacing thiers for the same reason. I wonder if that is a problem the manufacture Perko has?? Anyway, the old cap was made in 1998 so if I have to replace it every 13 years it's not a biggie.

The first time I went to fill the fuel tank on the used pontoon boat I purchased,I found that the fuel cap threads were stripped and it was very difficult to get the cap to thread in and seal properly.This cap was an exact replacement and works perfectly.
