My 4th Kasco De-Icer, I purchased 1 a couple years back for my dock in Canada, and have purchased 3 since for neighbors on the lake who had "cheaper" units, and returned in the spring to find their docks and ice eaters gone with the thaw. you can even drill a hole in frozen over area's put these in and the ice will be gone in a few days ....amazing product.
