Circulating Water Pump - 18-3577 - Sierra

When opening the package I found a oversized cut down unmarked box inside a shipping box with packing around it. Good to this point, BUT when I opened the cut down box that had no labeling or ID I found the pump had been rattling around with no packing or bracing to contain it. It was shipping worn enough that I checked the shaft for true before repainting it! It did not contain ANY other items such as gaskets to mount it as pictured. I am very surprised at sierra for the condition or the packaging and product as shipped.

Fit and finish excellent. Time will tell about overall quality.

The pump fit perfectly,(aside from having to switch the bypass hose barb fitting to a 1/2" pipe plug). I have Merc HP 500EFI's .
