I was disappointed in the surface quality of the product. The metal was not well polished before being chrome plated. To get the quality look that I desire, I will have to take the item to a local plater and have it polished and replated. Depending upon the condition of the old unit from the boat, I may choose to have it polished and replated instead. Overall, not up to my standards.
