These seats rock! To be honest, I would rather have gotten Attwood Centric II seats, but my wallet refused to let me. However, let's not knock the series 1 seats! The are very confortable, reliable, install easy, and are built to last. I had previously purchased some of the seats with the alluminum hinges on both sides...DON'T BOTHER. They stink. The single hinge on these seats is sturdy and supportive. I highly recommend these seats to anyone who wants stylish comfortable and long-lasting seats on their boat even if you're on a budget.

Previous to my purchase of these Atwood seats, I had purchased a couple of seats with the hinge on each side of the backrest. They were terrible. After one trip on the lake, the hinges and hinge frames were bent and almost completely broke. These Atwood seats, though, are fantastic! The single frame hinge is very sturdy, and the seats are comfortable. I look forward to many years of functionality and comfort from these seats. You get what you pay for, and these seats are well worth it. I highly recommend them.

The firmness of the seat bottom, along with the added lumbar support is fantastic. I would recommend this seat. I bought 2 for my pontoon, and added two more !
