Carburetor Float - 18-7202 - Sierra

After reviewing a number of online videos plus the instructions that came with the float it would be great to have an index mark on the float for setting the float drop float level. Had to eyesight the float in making these settings. Hope it works out once I have the engine operating again. Float was manufactured just like the OEM except no index marking.

Finally had the chance to assemble the carburetor for my boat and when I went to install the float the retaining pin would not go through the hole in the float assy. I had to use a jewelers round file to open the hole enough to allow the pin to be installed. Everything else went fine with the float and the carb rebuild. Now I need warn weather and get the boat ready for the water.

I just don't know where to start. This float was represented as being a brass replacement for a mercarb carburetor. No part of this float is brass. There are no index marks on it to set float level or drop. And shipping prices were exorbitant. I would have sent them back but in the fine print there was a 25% restocking charge. Total ripoff.

It is a float and it worked. It was a good price. No issues here
