I had to completely modify this product to make it fit my boat. The lower pvc portion was not long enough to reach my trailer to install in the manner pictured. Not a big deal sometimes trailers are different but when the item says, "Fits on trailer frames up to 3"x5" - 16" of adjustment on each side ensures a custom fit on any trailer" I usually take that at face value. I was wrong. So I had to do some adjusting, it happens. The main problem is that these are just not rigid enough. Loaded my boat up yesterday (first chance to use them) I had to back the boat back into the water 3x to line it up correctly on my bunks. The pvc just flexes too much, the slightest pressure pushed them out. Perhaps I expected too much from them. Admittedly I am not a long time boat user, but the "Makes boat loading and launching quick and easy " verbiage made me think it would really be what I needed. I do like the visibility they provide but I'll be pulling them off and binning them and making my own higher bunks. Should have done that in the first place I guess.
