Replacement seats

I ordered these seats to replace the ones on an Egg Harbor Sportfisherman. The original seats have a wooden frame that broke down with age although the upholstery was still good since 1976. Since they sit on a wooden base, I had to modify the side of the back rest so they could be used as a lounge seat. That is not fault of the Bayliner Lounge seat. But the new seats are not "cushiony" at all compared to the original ones from Egg Harbor. Hopefully they will soften with use!

I was missing some hardware on the boat and had to fabricate a mount to put install the seat onto the boat. The result was that I had to remove some hardware on the seat itself. Well, one of the screws (the screw insert actually) was stripped and therefore I had to saw off the hardware, which made even more work for mounting the seat properly. In the end it looks good, and I am satisfied, but the job took longer because of the poor assembly of the seat.

Bayliner Capri Seats

Ordered both of my replacement seats, they arrived sooner than the planned delivery date - pleasant surprise. The price for the seats was the best that I could find on the internet. I installed both of the seats onto my 24' Bayliner Capri boat - fit perfectly. It has been several weeks now, both seats look great, fit fine and are giving me more than I expected in service. Could not be more pleased with the price, delivery, ease of installation, appearance and how well the new seats are working in my boat. Thanks Philip W. Lindsey
