Popular gas springs designed for marine, RV and automotive applications. Special Ni-Slide rod coating for excellent corrosion resistance. These gas springs can be used in salt water areas. Each gas spring has a 10 mm composite head socket fitting which is the standard size for ball stud style mounting brackets. The 6mm x 15mm (rod & cylinder dimensions) are lighter duty to standard applications. The 8mm x 18mm are for standard to heavy duty applications. Connectors sold separately.

The big store in Springfield told me to go to O'Riliey's auto parts who really didn't have a clue as to what I needed even though I had the gas shock in my hand . After surveying and measuring the 40 or so on their rack they determined they would have to special order it. I p on that offer and when I got home started searching online. Iboats had the best price and I ordered an extra at the same shipping price. Iboats has always been very fast in shipping anything I ordered from them and the Rhino Iboats decal was a pleasant surprise when I opened the package.

Replacement of gas spring for deck lids

iboats had the right product at the right price. I needed two different sizes but could only find one on iboats website probably due to my error. The next day I spoke with an iboat representative who found the one I couldn't. My first order had been boxed up and readied for shipment, so she packaged up my second order and sent it free shipping. Both orders arrived at the same time. Replacement was quick and easy.

Difference between SL13-20-1 and SL13-20-5?

There is no real difference between the two as far as quality or design. They are packaged differently, hence the slight change in part numbers.
